We specialize in products and services that pay for themselves.

Installing a fireplace, stove or insert will add comfort, warmth and value to your home.  According to the Hearth, Patio and Barbecue Association, adding a gas fireplace to your home adds more value for the investment than any other home improvement project.  You can also take advantage of huge energy savings with a heater-rated direct vent gas fireplace.  These units use much less energy than even the highest efficiency furnaces available and put the heat directly into the room, where you want it.  A furnace distributes heat through a duct system where a great portion of the heat is lost in attic areas and the "dead spaces" of the home.  "Heater-rated"  or "furnace rated" hearth systems zone-heat the living spaces where most of your time is spent, rather than wasting energy heating rooms in the home that are not in use.  In most cases, these units will pay for themselves within just a few heating seasons.  A gas or wood fireplace also provides peace of mind in knowing that when power outages invariably occur, you won't be "left in the cold".

Wood, pellet and bio-mass stoves are quickly gaining in popularity as being the most environmentally-friendly heat sources available.  Pellet and bio-fuel stoves burn up to 99.9% efficient, while EPA certified wood stoves, fireplaces and inserts burn over 65% efficient.  Unlike old wood stoves, which pollute the air, EPA Phase II certified units burn the volatile gasses and unburned particulates (smoke) in the flue gases.  This provides more heat from less fuel, longer burn times, and keeps the flue cleaner.  A clean flue greatly diminishes the risk of a chimney fire.

Using energy from the sun, nature’s carbon cycle goes around, from the atmosphere to the forest and back. Here is how it works: trees absorb carbon dioxide from the air as they grow. In fact, about half their dry weight is this absorbed carbon. As old trees die and decay, or are consumed in a forest fire, their carbon is again released to the air as carbon dioxide. This is nature’s carbon cycle.

A fire in a clean burning fireplace or stove releases the solar energy stored by the tree as it grew. If the entire fuel cycle is considered, a clean burning fireplace will heat your home more efficiently and with lower environmental impact than any other fuel option. The other fuel options oil, gas and coal are fossil fuels, and when they are burned, old carbon that was buried deep within the earth is released to the atmosphere.

At North Texas Chimney and Hearth we understand the importance of hiring a qualified technician to do the work on your fireplace and chimney.  The state of Texas, however, does not currently require licensing or certification of hearth systems installers and technicians. Unfortunately, many chimney service companies in Texas do not invest the necessary time and money to properly train their staff.  An incorrectly installed hearth system can be dangerous and can result in the loss of property or even worse, the loss of life.  At North Texas Chimney and Hearth, our customers' safety and satisfaction comes first. You can be sure you will receive top notch service before, during and after the job. Any and all questions you may have will be welcomed and will always be answered patiently and accurately.

As our valued customer, you can rest easy knowing that your fireplace or stove is being installed by an experienced and certified hearth systems expert.

We have solutions for all of your chimney and fireplace needs whether you are a homeowner or a contractor.   We provide service, installation and repair for the finest specialty hearth products retailers, general contractors and home builders in the DFW Metroplex and surrounding areas.  We are a company built on word-of-mouth referrals and we value long-lasting relationships with our customers.

We appreciate you.
